Care Guide: 5 simple routines that keep your shoes shining.
A pair of quality leather shoes are made to last for many seasons. With the right care, they will maintain their shape, color, and character over time.
Small, consistent routines make a big difference and are ultimately an investment in both comfort and longevity.

1. Protect before use
Before using the shoes for the first time, we recommend applying our Protector or Care spray. Repeat the treatment after cleaning. This protects against water, salt, and stains and helps maintain the quality of the material.
2. Clean carefully
Remove dust and dirt with a soft brush. A simple habit that prevents particles from permanently settling in the leather and affecting the surface.
3. Impregnate regularly
Suede and nubuck in particular benefit from regular impregnation. This protects the material and makes it more resistant to daily use.
4. Care for smooth leather
Use shoe polish or conditioner for smooth leather to maintain color, suppleness, and shine. Regular care prevents drying out and helps the shoes retain their appearance.
5. Let them air dry naturally
If the shoes get wet, they should air dry at room temperature. Avoid direct heat, as it can dry out the leather and affect the material's structure.
Care according to material
Quality deserves attention, and different materials require different types of care. Here are our recommendations.

Smooth leather
Regularly waterproof and use shoe polish or conditioner to preserve the colour and keep the leather supple. Over time, well-maintained smooth leather develops a beautiful patina, making the shoes even more personal.

Suede & nubuck
Impregnate regularly, but avoid shoe polish. Use a suede brush to gently refresh the surface and preserve the material's characteristic texture.

Leather soles
Impregnate the edge for extra protection. Polish the upper with shoe polish, and avoid prolonged use in very wet conditions.

Patent leather
Coated leather is largely maintenance-free, but benefits from being wiped down with a slightly damp cloth if they have become dirty, and then receiving regular care with a spray that has been developed specifically for patent and coated leather.
